I have two extremely sick ferrets (4 and 9 years old) and recently started them
on Gerbers Chicken and Wild Rice Stage 2, ORGANIC - they love the organic
stuff, but completely turned up their noses at the "regular" Gerber stuff. These
guys are extremely picky eaters and I didn't have to "do" anything to get them
to eat it - they just dove right in. Due to the illness,"Elmo" went from 3.1 lbs. to
1.67 lbs in three months (August). He got up to 2.1 by December 15th, and I
began feeding them the Gerbers at that point. In the month since I began (they
share two jars daily) Elmo is up to 2.5 lbs. and has perked up dramatically. He's
not out of the woods, but the Gerbers Organic has definitely made a dramatic
