My Callie is a female silvermitt ferret. Age is 6 and 3 months old. Callie =
was diagnosed with Lymphoma back in July of 2002. She is presently on 1/4 t=
sp of "Predniesolone" 6.7MG/5ML, twice a day , "Pau d'Arco 100mg twice dail=
y and Vitamin C 100mg twice daily. I am also giving her "Essiac Tea" as muc=
h as she wants. When she was first diagnosed she had enlarged lymphnodes a=
bout her neck. Since on the "Pred" they have disappeared. A few months ago =
I had taken her to the vet because she was having a problem with her bowels=
. She would grunt when she used her bowels as if in pain. Vet took a urine =
test and said she had an infection. She was put on "Clavamox". Things did g=
et better but, not totally. On ocassion she would grunt yet again. Since he=
r stools were abit on the hard side, I thought she was constipated. So, I g=
ave her more "Essiac Tea". Her stools softened up and her bowel movements w=
ere much better. Does anyone no what the stages are for "Lymphoma". Callie =
is having the bowel problem again and doesn't seem to be strong enough to g=
et to the litterpan. She is eating her dry food and drinking her water. I d=
o give her some "Duck Soup". She does seem to like it so I haven't stopped =
that. I am having a hard time determining what I should do to make her comf=
ortable. Are signs of the last stage simular to what I have described? Havi=
ng bowel problems <grunting>, rear hind leg weakness, tired looking eyes. D=
oes anyone know what to look out for with Lymphoma? I love Callie very much=
. I am worried this maybe the last stages for her and I am uncertain as to =
what I should do. Please help with any suggestions. I would greatly appreci=
ate it.

Joni/Callie
