Haley,

Vaseline is great, so are general digestive enzymes for some things.
Hairballs in the stomach are sometimes hard to see on x ray and for those
that haven't seen a lot of them they have trouble even with contrast films.
Your kid is on the younger end of the older ferrets and if the teeth
grinding continues you might consider an exploratory on him because this way
some youwould know for sure, and you could have the pancreas evaluated at
the same time and remove some of the insulinoma lesions.

As for the air fresheners etc. I would remove anything like that from the
environment because if it isn't toxicity it could be all allergy in Kodo
that is not affecting your other guy.

Hope you find the answers and they are things that are easily fixed. best
to you and Kodo and I am very happy that you have a great vet, because
somehow these days they are hard to find, so it is nice to know you
appreciate yours. Good Luck!

Dr. Sue
