Dr. Kemmerer just sent me an update to her article on Heartworms and in this update, she outlines a promising new treatment for heartworm positive ferrets.

For you vets out there, Dr. K said she will be submitting a much more detailed article to JAVMA on the use of Proheart as an adulticide in four ferrets. This won't be submitted for a month or so, so no telling how long it will be before it actually appears.
