Jen,
As I am new to the ferret world I am not sure what to tell you on it getting
better or not, but as a LONG time pet owner, I will tell you that personally I
would go ahead and let go. I know that isn't the easiest thing to hear
because as humans we want to hold on. I personally don't think it is fair to let a
pet suffer any longer than it has to. I had to put a cat down this summer
and though it was hard, it was peaceful, painless, and I felt that it was what I
had to do for the kitties sake. I hope this helps you some. I am so sorry
you are facing this decision and I know it is awful to have to make it. I will
be thinking of you and Taz. Remember if you do let go, he won't hurt or
struggle anymore and you will be with him again someday.
