Hi, My name is Sami, My male has the same thing. The vet I had seen is not a very wise ferret vet, but says that it is just a gland in the male that they do not remove when neutering. She said that it can be drained but there is an 80 percent chance that it will fill again and again. I have been draining mine every once in awhile myself. I just use Emla cream and a syringe. He does fill up again somewhat but is living a healthy life just the same. It doesn't seem to be bothering him, but I was afraid it might get in the way of urinating. So far so good.

My vet has asked me to post to see if anyone here has seen or had any experience with anything like this and if so, what treatment is recommended.
