We have a pharmacy here that will compound meds with flavoring. I have used the pharmacy many times in the past (ie. Lasix, Enalpril, Florinef) for the ferrets and they charge pretty much the same for most compounded meds. My vet asked them to compound as much as they could but still have the solution remain stable. He wanted me to try Proglycem first, I have not used Pred at all with Jaz. That was why I was curious if it was effective by itself and not along with Pred since Jaz was never on Pred and all that I have read indicates that is added to Pred, not used as an alternative. I had planned on doing the Proglycem for a couple weeks and then test his blood sugar. Thank you for your reply!
