I've got a 19-week-old whole male, Felix, who is scheduled to be neutered t=
he end of March, once he's six months. He weighs about 3 lbs. and is very m=
uch the typical baby ferret. However, I've noticed recently that his testic=
les seem to be "disappearing" -- the vet checked him when he was 8 weeks an=
d they were there, you could feel them. Now I can no longer feel them and t=
hey are certainly not visible.
Is it possible they have somehow "undescended?" I'm concerned he may need s=
urgery to remove them, but has this ever happened to anyone before?
