I had a similiar situation with one of my little ones. He was a 5 1/2 year old male sable ferret (Teaco) who ended up being diagnosed with lymphosarcoma. A horrible disease that I wish would never exist. Anyhow, that was only concluded after a few test, which I can't remeber the names of (blood, tissue, etc). It is best to treat as early as possible. With Teaco, it started as a lump and slowly grew bigger. It felt pretty hard and did not seem to bother him much at all (at least in the beginning). We had it removed but it came back in a spot much lower. I wish you the best of luck on finding out what the problem is with your little one.Best wishes, Benita
