You need to get him to a vet. Have his glucose checked as these could be hypoglycemic episodes. If his glucose isn't low I'd ask the vet to run a major chem panel (full blood work) which is recommended for ferrets over the age of six anyway. My first guess would be insulinoma, but I am not a vet. You really do need a vet to do some tests to find out what is going on.
