Hi All,
I have searched the archives and read all the previous responses to the question swollen vulva. I have an appointment to take Miso into the vet tomorrow morning. Miso is 5 to 6 years old (rescue), two blue dots on right ear (marshall ???), in good health, still on theophylline for asthma. Last Friday I noticed during playtime her vulva looked slightly enlarged. There is no hair loss, no change in activity or eating, and she is not aggressive. Problem is, we move back to the states end of May from Germany. If the vet decided its adrenal disease, do I need to do surgery now, or is it possible to wait til we get back and have an expert handle it. If he has no idea what is causing it, since there is no hair loss to go with it, should I pursue the incomplete spay possibility and have her operated on just in case? Her vet here has limited experience with ferrets. Unfortunately, here I don't have much choice.
Thanks for the input.
Tracy
