I don't think it is painful to humans. It has a few uses in
adults and also in central
precocious puberty ( in children)

I think the worst side effect in adult females is estrogen withdrawl
symptoms, like going through menopause. Although even if there
are worse side effects I don't think it can be then extrapolated
to animals. I understand that some animals do very well on chemo,
and the same chemo makes us humans miserable.

And I wouldn't use it without good reason, but I have not seen
any ferrets that had gotten it act as if in pain or with side effects
( of course these were advanced adrenal ferrets )
