I am not sure what you mean by pulling them through Alleutian,
especially with mention of surgeries. Aleutian Disease (ADV) is not
something that can be cured, although it is certainly possible to pull
ferrets through a crisis, and get them into a more remissive state.
Since you mention hair loss, could you mean adrenal disease, which is
treated by surgically removing one or both adrenal glands?

However, in reference to your question about baby food - I supplement my
kids with Gerber's Turkey baby food, and occasionally Lamb. I avoid the
chicken, because I have several with apparent food allergies to chicken.
You might want to rotate 2 or 3 different flavors, to try an pique their
interest.
