We bought the baby girl at the local pet store. The shipment of ferrets came only 4 days ago. The only reason that i dont think it could be ece is that it happened so quickly, less than 24 hours. With all all that has changed (new cage, new baby) im afraid pollux will not adapt very well. I am taking him to the vet first thing tomorrow in hopes that the trip wont be just more added stress. Also, pollux is a very little guy. Never eats much and only weighs under 2 pounds. I read that with ece a ferret could loose up to 40% of their body weight, have you heard this?
