These sure sound like symptoms of insulinoma. I don't know what type of heart disease she's been diagnosed with, of course. You might want to ask your vet if he/she can safely draw some blood and, if so, is you can have your ferret's blood glucose checked.

I understand that surgery is not an option in an older ferret with a heart condition, but if it is insulinoma some form of medical treatment that doesn't interfere with her heart medication might well be in order, possible prednisone. That would relieve her symptoms and get her blood glucose back to normal.

The usual disclaimer applies: I am not a vet, but I either have or had four ferrets with insulinoma.
