Normal is all relative :)

If she is playful and happy then I wouldn't worry so much.
Females that are very active, and are spayed can be skinny
(well kind of lanky, or twiggy body shape)

1-2 lbs for a female is not skinny, unless she is whole or
has lost a pound or more and is not eating. If the same
ferret was not getting any exercise and had food 24/7 then
they may be bigger but because of fat. Of course, just like
people there are varied body styles and sizes for ferrets as well
based on when they are spayed and the size of their parents, etc.

Most ferrets don't like being held, especially if they can be playing.
Digging is a normal ferret behaviour, you can create dig boxes
and make the play area more interested to keep her busy.
Get down and play with her one on one, take a towel and drag it
around for her to jump on, and come up with some games to play.
Pick her up and hold her and give her a treat and let her down
again after a few seconds. You can train her to sit on your shoulder or
come to you for play or treats with some work.

I doubt anything is wrong with your girl, but at a year she
is probably due for her distemper shots and annual vet check
so ask the vet to check her over for you so you don't have to worry.
