I seriously doubt it had anything to do with the vaccine. Remember that the vaccine itself is in the body for a short time. The way that vaccines work is that they educate the body to recognize something as a disease and fight it immediately so that it can't get a foot-hold.

My suspicion is that your ferret had a partial blockage which was passed. It fits.

I have yet to have a ferret that did not have reoccurring Adrenal.

Critter Male, First surgery at 6 years old, recurrence at 7 yo. Now on
Lupron
SusieQ Female, Surgery at 4 1/2, second one year later
Tequila Female, Bi-lateral at 3 1/2 years old, reoccurrence on year
later, not able to locate problem surgically, currently on Lupron and
responding well
Buster, Male, bi lateral at 3 1/2...died of unrelated issue two months
later

Rascal don't remember if it was just one or both, but died of unrelated
cause a year later before reoccurrence.

I have yet to have a ferret over the age of 3 1/2 that did not have
Adrenal surgery

Keep your fingers crossed, I have three ferrets under the age of 3 1/2...I
better start saving now.
