Joe,

Your ferrets will eat dry TF. You should stop babying them. If you are
worried that the dry kibble is not being eaten, then COUNT OUT exactly 50
kibbles and put them in a dish in the cage. Don't give them any other food,
only the 50 kibbles. Count the kibbles in the dish the next day. I am sure
that you will find some kibbles gone, and that is proof for you that they
are being eaten.

When you feel sure that your ferrets are eating on their own, you don't have
to count them any more. Just fill a dish and let them eat as they will.
(You can weigh the ferrets every week to see if they are losing or gaining
weight too. Keeping a weight chart is very useful).
