I had a vague recollection but this might not fit.
Anyway, I went to the Complete FHL Archives at

If there is no answer forthcoming easily from smaller tests what about removal and biopsy of one? There is a past vet post with concern about a possible neoplastic process in a ferret with multiple lumps but those did not arise suddenly and pretty much all at once.
