It's for checking neuroproblems and understanding neurofunction. This
is one area in which vet med has been often hampered, so it may wind
up helping ferrets in the future. More needs to be known about basic
functions for many animal brains, and this has the potential of being a
more helpful future. It looks like they use a collar arrangement to
prevent it being removed and it is suspended to allow close to normal
motion. That would be important since it looks like their aim is to
have as close to normal living as possible during the monitoring so as
much comfort as possible would be important.

The sections on:
idea, papers, people (with contacts) work. The section on the work is
being built.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let ya'll know that S'mores got his toe broken
last night. He got it stuck in a table and started flailing about before we
could get him out. I never knew they could make such noises. Poor little guy!
I took him to the emergency vet who thank God has a ferret specialist as a
friend. He is OK, even at the vet he was trying to climb everything! They put
him on an anti-inflammatory and he is doing better. I am supposed to keep his
activity level way down for the next week and I wanted to know if anyone has
any tips on how to slow down a 19 week old ferret! He is a very busy boy! Any
advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much,
Jamie
