It almost sounds like a platelet problem and that he is thrombocytopenic. I
would get a platelet count and he may need to be on a higher dose of
prednisolone if this is the case, since it couldbe Autoimmune. Get him
looked at soon and in the menatime do not allow any falls or trauma because
if this is the case it could cause him to bleed out. The small mass you see
may even just be a blood clot attached there, no way to know. Be careful
and good luck. If it is just bruising and not platelet problem then see if
you can get some Arnica Gel and apply it topically. It is homeopathic but
great for bruising and trauma, but PLEASE BE SURE THAT IS ALL IT IS, TALK TO
THE VET AGAIN.
