Hi, everyone,

I posted a while back about Tenchi, a 6 y/o neutered
male Marshall's baby we've had since he was a kit. To
remind you he had gone suddenly blind, was losing
weight, and wasn't active at all like he used to be.
We attributed his being out of sorts to depression
over the loss of his sight and the deaths of Pertwee
and Ker Avon.

Well... after more testing than I care to think about
(some of it invasive) we now have more definitive
answers. Tenchi has lymphosarcoma and insulinoma. We
have him on pediapred and he is active and happy once
more. He's still very thin but between a healthy
appetite and the pred we hope there will be some
improvement there.

Obviously, with lymphosarcoma being the main
complaint, we're not going to put him through
insulinoma surgery. Our main goal now is to keep him
happy and keep his quality of life good for as long as
we can.

Oh, and yeah, this has been one tough year for our
aging business.

All the best,
Caity and the super seven
