Hi everyone

My only female ferret Lucy has a blad tail. She is two years old. I doubt if she is adrenal because of A) her age and B)lack of any other symptoms. Also, it is not bilateral. It is not due to seasonal shedding either. She began losing the fur on her tail about a year ago. It has been bald for about a year, through two shedding cycles. I have also ruled out ringworm or Sarcoptic Mange. She is housed with five other ferrets, and none of them have fur loss. I feel bad because her tail is cold all the time. Any ideas? I don't know what to treat it with because I have no idea what is causing it.

Also, does anyone have any experience with Wysong Archetypal ferret food? There are two formulas, one being 99% meat based, supposedly closer to what the ferret evolved eating. I ask because my old man ferret Merlin has Insulinoma, and I have been wanting to change his diet to a higher protein one. However, it is impossible for me to make Bob Church's Chicken Gravy. Let me know.

PS. As of now, I have been feeding 8 in one pro ultimate.
