I am so sorry about Maxine. I lost my precious 6 month old Thunderfoot to this
same disease. He got sick Dec 15th and I finally had to help him cross the bridge
Jan 31. Started as swollen lymph nodes, high spiking fever, hind end weakness.
After 3 days he had to be hand fed, after less than two weeks, he no longer even got
off the paper after pottying. We tried Baytril, Clavamox/Interferon mix, pred,
vitamine treatments etc. Nothing made a difference. I wish I could give you the
answer you seek but I am still seeking it myself. You're not alone in your pain.
