Thanks for your responses- I have been feeding them regularly with a high protien soup in addition to the kibble that they are eating. This has been keeping them stable for the most part. The one not on Azium is stable with just the feedings & now both of the other 2 are being treated with Azium as well as the feedings. I figure I'll go ahead and get the insulin testing done on them so that I can know for sure whether or not they have insulinoma and go from there. Now I am wondering- is Azium an okay medication to treat them with for the time being? I believe my vet chose this because it could be discontinued if their blood sugar drop was caused by something other than pancreatic tumors. Also, I am still curious about what sepsis is. I cannot really find any info on it that gives a concrete explanation of its causes, effects and its cures.
Thanks again!
Michelle
