I hope so, too! Just to add to the discussion, we did have one *extremely*
severe anaphylactic reaction in one of our babies (who died about a year
ago now), Xena. She had to have all the stops pulled out to save her, and
she was "off" for the next couple of days. I too was worried about brain
damage -- she would not come when I called her, which she had learned very
early and was really consistent about, and she seemed confused by my
attempts to interact with her as I normally had. Luckily, however, this
was only temporary and wore off after about 2 days. She was then back to
her normal wild and crazy self.
And she never, ever had another vaccination again.
