Yes, the node is on the same side as the infections. He appears to be better, but I'll
schedule a follow up with his vet.

Is the mouth healing? It could be a number of things, infection, there
could have been a punture there that flared up the node, could be a tumor,
etc. I would follow up and the 2 areas of infection, see if any other nodes
are enlarged, try a different antibiotic (both in the ear and systemically.

A needle aspirate was done (I know, not conclusive) that was benign. A biopsy is,
naturally, the next step. However, he is 7 and there are alot of structures in the
neck. What is the best way to get a biopsy from him?
I would even consider a biopsy (even if it is only a singel node it could be
useful, the node itself could evn be cultured.
