>From what is sounds like your kit has ECE (a viral infection). It is pretty common in store bought ferrets. It is also really contagious, so you can bring it home on your clothes from a pet store if you touched another ferret. One of my ferrets had it last year. She started out with birdseed poop, then throwing up and then had runny green diarrhea. Pretty much all we did was give her lots of sub-Q fluids and fed her yummy mushy food like chicken baby food. They also put her on some antibiotics (broad spectrum like Baytril)to make sure she didn't get any secondary infections and gave her Pepto to soothe her intestines. It took her about a week and a half to get better--she lost a lot of weight. Usually kits get milder cases than adults, so your ferret might be better than mine was. I'm just a vet student, and I might be wrong, but I hope that helps.
