Only problem is the law doesn't care! I agree people just need to know if
they don't vaccinate for rabies and something happens it could mean the
ferrets demise. More precautions are req'd to prevent inadvertant accidents
of scratches and bites if you elect not to do it. Perhaps someday things
will be better, but with so many uneducatied people out there that make the
laws and these peole still don't believe ferrets to be domestic cause a lot
of problems for everyone. There is an automatic euthanasia clause in our
county for ferrets and I would hate to be the vet that gave a waiver for it
if something where to happen. Best to you. Just to think about.
