Our vet has us give them Bob Church's Chicken Gravy
during the recovery period, usually 2-3 times a day,
to keep their weight up and give them an extra high
quality diet. We also keep kibble in the cage as
always.

Info on the gravy is at
http://www.trifl.org/gravy.html Don't let the recipe
intimidate you. If you use Pam Sessoms' pressure
cooker method prep to cleanup is about an hour and a
half and isn't bad at all. Keep several days supply
in the fridge and freeze the rest for later use.

Here's hoping Fester comes through his insulinoma
surgery just fine. In the three ferrets were our vet
has done the surgery (Avon, Podo, and Kodo) it really
was a new lease on life.

All the best,
Caity and the seven wonder weasels
