Two weeks ago, he developed what appeared to be severe abdominal bruising right after his first Lupron injection, and several people here were kind enough to give me a lot of useful information. This cleared up, but he now just has too many strikes against him.

At that time, X-Rays revealed a small, grape-sized mass in his abdomen. He's been getting hand-fed baby food since then, and I thought that was why he was looking so fat. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Two days ago I noticed he seemed to be having trouble breathing, and I took him to his Vet yesterday. In two weeks, the mass has grown from the size of a small grape to the point where it is starting to fill his abdominal cavity, and is pressing against his diaphragm, making it difficult to breathe.

Between this, the fast growth of the tumor, his age (he's almost seven), his insulinoma and adrenal disease, and just general poor health, his Dr. and I have decided he is not a surgical candidate, and so next week, he will go to live with the brother he knew, and the sister and brother he never knew, at the Rainbow Bridge.

Thank you again to everyone who tried to help him, unfortunately there was just too much going on.

Bright Blessings,

Becky
