Is it the taste he hates or is it that he feels uncomfortable eating anything? I know, that's not a question that's easily answered.

I would try plain chicken baby food, thinned out enough so it goes down easily. Also warmed slightly before feeding. Keeping his head elevated during feeding is very important, but you probably already know that.

You might want to search the archives (http://fhl.sonic-weasel.org/) for megaesophagus. This topic has been discussed quite a few times and you might find something in a post that will help Boomer.
