My ferret (Hobs) just went through exploratory surgery and it took him a long time
to get back to himself. I was super worried but after a few days (4 or 5) he started
eating on his own. His belly was bruised too which took a lot longer to get back to
normal coloring.
All I can tell you is to be patient and keep giving him tons of attention! Just think of
how long it takes us to get back on our feet after a surgery!!
