Dr. Sharyn Stone (has ferrets of her own and has owned ferrets since she was
15 years old) works at Bayonet Point Animal Hospital off of Route 52 in
Hudson. Rt. 52 connects with I-75. Bayonet Point is just over the line
from Port Richey on the Gulf Coast. She is there ONLY ON FRIDAYS for
ferrets: 727-863-2435. You would have to ask for her SPECIFICALLY for an
appt. on a Friday.
There is also Dr. Deborah Cottrell (formerly Kemmerer) who is a professor at
Univ. of Fla - Gainesville, who has a private practice at:
