In researching to give my ferrets a new and improved home I have run across a question that needs answering. Lumber used to be treated chemically with an arsenic based product, does this pose any potential problems as far as odor or God forbid a ferret chews the wood while playing?? They are now using a copper based chemical to treat wood will this pose any problems?? any help with this is greatly appreciated.
