I agree that chest films should be taken to see and if nothing is there it
will at least ease your mind. Sometimes in the wary weeks after a
splenectomy (depending on the reason for removal) the body forms small blood
clots that get released and could affect the lungs, heart r other areas of
the body so I think you need to know what you are dealing with so you can
manage it properly. Good Luck.
