I have a ferret Gus and he's very sick. he is an albino approx 1 yr old.
-loss of hair (shedding, not in patches)
-yellowish colouring to his nose (usually pink)
-half his body weight is gone (very skinny)
-food uneaten
-dry mouth
-urine on his belly
-very dozy (still tried to play, but no energy?)
-scratched at his mouth (other ferret Wish did this and he had a hairball...But his gums were discoloured, Gus' gums/mouth are pink)
-bowels are small, almost greasy, not unusual colour/odour
-most recent medication: Tresaderm (ear drops for infection) infection cleared up, ears aren't filled with wax. Used med only for 7 days 2x daily.
i need your help asap. i am bringing him to the vet today. please respond if you can help.
