I would only add this to the baby food advice. When our guys were really
sick they ate the turkey and chicken baby food. We also added some Nutrical,
a small ribbon on the top then mixed it. Ferrets have a sweet tooth and this
helped get them to eat it while also getting some needed nutrients into
them.

The best advice you've gotten so far is to find a knowledgable ferret doc.
When asking or calling about vets ask if they have an "exotic" vet, i.e. one
who is trained to treat ferrets among other animals. I have four ferret docs
that I would trust with my ferrets (I have 8).

I hope things go well for you and your little girl. My wife and I's thoughts
are with you.
