I took in 4 rescues New Year's Eve. Unknown age and they were all neutered=

in January. One of the rescues, a hob, I guess 4-5 year old, has loads of
small black =93dots=94 in his ear, like tiny haematomas. I took him to see =
my
vet and she said it looks identical to the ceruminous/ cerumen gland adenom=
a
that she has seen in cats. She said usually it's benign but can be malignan=
t

=

So I was wondering... Is this cancer usually benign in ferrets, too? What=

should we do? It's just inside his ear (not inside his ear canal) and woul=
d
be very awkward to "cut out". My vet said it's best to leave it alone
because it can spread when you biopsy it? Should I just keep an eye on it
for now?

I have put pictures of it here:
