Hi, everyone,

She has no symptoms of an ulcer, and that would
result, from what I understand, in black tarry stool,
not frank blood and nothing else.

The update: Lady Ayeka had a third incident at the
emergency clinic that night, but since then she's been
fine. A fecal smear after that was normal. Her blood
glucose was normal. (She does have insulinoma ).
There has been no recurrence since that night.

Ayeka received fluids that night and was put on
Clavamox. She's been fine but we still don't know why
this happened. All we're doing at this point is
watching and waiting.

The amazing thing through all of this is that Lady
Ayeka remained her usual, wired self. She wanted to
play and didn't understand anything was wrong. Go
figure.

Anyway, if anything changes or if we figure out
anything I'll post again.

All the best,
Caity and the super seven
