In my opinion it is important to have the full picture before starting any
new drug, especially one that has not been used before. It will help
because when you are treating a problem you need to know what is working and
what is going on so that you have a complete picture. I don't think it is
such that the lupron is dangerous but if something else needs to be done
that might be more important to treat first it is the best way to go. If he
uses it and something new happens, he won't know if it is from what was
going on in the first place or if the lupron contributed to it. I hope I am
making sense, it is very late. Hope this helps a bit but I am sure someone
else will chime in too.
