I have posted before about my Rosie and Charlie not eating TF dry kibble...Well, the Battle STILL GOES ON, and Rosie and Charlie are STILL winning!
Last evening, though, fed them their "liquid lunch" as usual, their 2nd meal around 7:30p.m. -8:00, and around 9:30, Rosie started vomiting. She did this from 12 to 15 times for about 15 to 20 min. I could NOT find anything foreign she may have brought up. Also, along with this, there was long, thin, stringy poop, of a pretty natural color. She finally settled down at around 10 - 10:15p.m., and I have been watching her very closely since. She seems to have had a restful night, but i am still watching! I read the piece on vomiting, and very briefly it said that vomiting can be a sign of just about anything from bad food (which it is not) to an intestinile blockage.
Could anybody please help me at all with this, and give me info and advice!
Please don't mention going to the vet, as that is th VEY FIRST thing that came to mind, and though can't afford to take her to our closest emergency clinic, and the vets there no NOTHING about Ferrets, I will be phoning her vet first thing 9a.m. Monday morning!
I know this posting turned out t be a long one again, and I am very sorry. I also wish to make a public apology to all the good, caring people who wrote me about my last posting of 23 Feb., and wish to thank them very much for their great advice and info. I am fairly new on the internet, and somehow i misplaced the e-mails they sent me personally, and I assure theem that now have discovered them, I shall answer all . ..no matter how late.
Thank you all , sincerely, and I hope someone can please help my little Rosie in this situation until I get her to her vet on Monday.
My apologies and Best Wishes to all, and Best of Health and Many Long Years and Happy Dooks to all your darling Fuzzies. Thans very much for reading this.
Sincerly,
Joe Ruggier,
