First off, I'm glad to be back to this group. I didn't make the switch-over when it left yahoo and I've missed it. Now my question-
Yesterday I had to have my almost nine year old female ferret pts. She had lymphoma. About three weeks ago Franny had a seizure where she screamed for about six minutes. During that time I administered med. the dr gave me for seizures as she had a few before without any screaming. She came out of that one okay. Yesterday the screaming started and the med. didn't stop it. I gave four more drops but again no cessation. From the time she started the seizures to the time I found a dr on Sunday was almost two hours. My question is was she in pain all that time? She sounded as if she were and I really need to know one way or the other. The long time before getting her help was because we are in a rural area and finding a vet who would come in on a Sunday and then driving there took time.
Thank you,
Laurel
