Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can give me some
advice here. I have a 6 1/2 yr old female ferret,
with adrenal disease (diagnosed about 3 months ago).
She is on Lupron, just had her 3rd shot. We recently
just lost her playmate, my boy, almost a week ago.
Prior to that she had been slowing down, but now,
whenever she comes out to play, she will walk around a
little (a few minutes at most), and then find a spot
to curl up and go to sleep in. I try to interest her
in games, but she's not the least bit interested. I'm
guessing she may be a little lonely, but I think its
due to the adrenal, because that is how my boy was
just before he passed away. Is there anything else
that can be done? I have an appt w/ the vet, but I'm
looking for as much advice as possible.
Thank you,
Andrea
