The big drug companies have got the EU on my side of the big pond to
pass laws stopping vets using human grade drugs on animals. The reason
given was to stop people getting resistant to drugs, as we don't eat out
pets in the UK that was not likely to happen anyway. It is more likely
because these companies charge vets up to 4 times the price doctors are
charged. I expect money has a lot to do with the FDA directive. Chris.
