Subject: Fiefal has a dark growth on his nose--please help

Hi Everyone,
Im hoping to get some advice in regards to a growth on my little fuzz babies
nose.
I was told by my vet when it was smaller that it was probably a tick bite and
that the tick
is enlodged in him and will take awhile before it goes away. Its unlikely
though,,,because Fiefal rarely goes outside and when he does its for a very short
time with alot of supervision.
My concern is that the dark spot on his nose has grown in size and i called
my vet and he said its nothing to worry about--but i am worried and although i
do have a very ferret knowledgable vet- Im still concerned. Has anyone else
seen something like this with there ferrets or have any of the doctors/vets
come across this???
