If you are feeding a good kibble the general rule is no more than 5% of
the ferret's weight should be fed in 24 hours. A little more if the
ferret is very active and less if not. Fat on a ferret is not as
dangerous as fat on us is but when their little feet no longer touch the
ground they are too fat. Chris.
