I'm a student at the University of Akron and I'm doing a model about ferret dieting. I
have some questions about metabolism and no one can seem to help me. I was told
that people here know ferret metabolism and research. I would really appreciate it if
you could answer the following questions:

1.What exactly is metabolism, and how do you find it?

2.Does ones metabolism ever change? If so, what causes this change?

3.How many calories do my ferrets burn with each of their activities?
a.Running:
b.Jumping:
c.Climbing:
d.Wrestling:
e.Dancing:
f.Other:

4.How do the amounts of fats and proteins affect the amount of calories that are
taken in?

5.What is the minimum amount of food that my ferrets can eat in a day?

6.What is the minimum amount of play time that my ferrets can have in a day?
