Hair loss is the most obvious and common symptom of adrenal disease, but this is not always present. Some ferrets may exhibit mating or aggressive behavior or other symptoms. Some exhibit several symptoms, others may exhibit only a single symptom and which one depends on the particular hormone that is being overproduced.

I can't say I've heard anyone say the only symptom theirs exhibited was urinary problems due to prostatic enlargement, but it seems that this is a possibility. Since he has no other obvious symptoms, having the Adrenal Panel that is run by the U. of Tenn. done may be the way to go.
