The only time I had a growth removed from the snout it turned out to be a
squamous cell carcinoma - but we were lucky that it was completely removed and
there was no recurrance. So I would be a bit concerned about not doing the
pathology...I do it just to clear things up in my own mind - and its money well
spent, IMO.
